I have been bringing my chocolate lab, Haylee, to Kamp K9 for seven years. It is an awesome place for your dog! Chip and Betty do an amazing job of making sure the dogs are well cared for and most of all, they have fun! They have helped us out so much over the past years. Also, when we go away, Haylee has been "bunkhouse" approved, so she is able to stay with Chip and Betty. I don't worry one minute when she is with them. I cannot even say Chip or Betty's name at home because Haylee gets so excited. She loves to go to Kamp! She walks in and doesn't look back.
At the end of the day, you get a report on what she did, who she played with and generally how her day went. It's fun. This is a fabulous place and all the dogs are well screened to be sure they can get along together.
You will not regret signing your dog up to attend Kamp K9. I can recommend it with no reservations at all! Kamp K9 ROCKS! Plus, the Kounselors are wonderful, too!

KAMP K9 is primarily a daycare facility...overnight privileges in our “Bunkhouse" are extended to "established" daycare Kampers and determined on a case-by-case basis. Hence, the reason we do not advertise ourselves as a boarding facility.

When contemplating an appropriate boarding facility for your dog,
visit the facility you are considering!

  • Ask to see where your dog will sleep.
  • Are they protected by cold and/or heat?
  • Is there appropriate shade and/or cover for inclement weather?
  • When are they fed and is sufficient water available?
  • Can medications be administered?
  • How often are they given potty breaks?
  • If group playtime with other dogs is offered, is temperament testing performed and is playtime supervised at all times?
  • Is proof of up-to-date vaccines required?
  • What is their policy in case of a medical or natural disaster emergency?
